Motherhood is chaotic!
Especially with more than one child. …or is it just me?
Motherhood can be hard!
Over the past weeks I’m realising, what others probably already know: It’s important to have one-on-one time with each child, even if it is just a couple of minutes a day.
How I’m actually going to make it happen is a challenge. All suggestions welcome!
I’ve read a really sweet blog post this past week about date with a child. It’s spurred me on to come up with some tactics of my own.
Thankfully this week I have Max all to myself and Hugo and Angelina have Dadonthebrink to themselves. (I’m in Hungary having dental surgery)
It’s been rather magical having him only. He has gone from demanding little terror to the sweetest, chattiest little boy within half a day. How does this happen?
He’s made me proud on numerous occasions. Friends and family, on meeting him, have raised eyebrows at why I’d described this angelic little boy as a tiny terror when we’ve chatted on the phone or skype.
Yesterday was one of those days of such pride:
How do you divide your attention between your children?
Moments are my way of capturing those snapshots in time of pure happiness. I’m bottling them! 😉
These are perfect to read back in times of parenting lows. Are you capturing your moments?
thanks for the mention. It can be hard to find the time but it is very rewarding when you do. I often find, like you, their behaviour is different when away from their siblings xx
