I’m a mum on the brink! With lots of routes available to me I am at an impasse on my journey of life.
I have the responsibility of caring for 2 young children, for a loving (but very busy) husband and lastly myself.
This order of priority shows: I am run-down (have had the flu revisiting me again and again over the last 6 weeks, never fully recovering before the next onslaught comes), am seriously over-weight (17 stone and a bit), lacking energy and to top it all off have an injured knee which has just been operated upon. I am intellectually challenged by children daily, but I crave for more. I want to go back to work and keep the family running, being able to be there for the littlins when it’s break or sickness.
So in a hope that I can link with like-minded people I am going to journal my efforts to go beyond the brink and embrace
… self-love and happiness
… healthier lifestyle
… improved relationship with food (hopefully weight-loss)
… a flexible work environment
… intellectual and spiritual growth
Not much to ask for, is it?
