My five year old had had the game for less than a week and loves it. He already has five Skylanders and would happily spend all his birthday money on more.

Isaac (5) adores Skylanders ever since he was introduced to it a lollibop last year. It is a game he can play with his older brothers with no problem and even Daddy joins in.
The swap force YouTube video is the most watched in this house – we cannot wait!

I think you have a very good point Sammie about the game: With the physical figures available outside of the toys lend themself to playing with, weaving the story further. I didn’t even think of that.

Our son Chester is obsessed with Skylanders! He is 4. We let him play the games as we both agreed there was only mild violence and it was easy enough for him to understand how to play. But above all else the thing that Chester loves to do most is play with the figures. He has a fantastic imagination and the stories he makes up for them are amazing!!

I have taken your advice tonight and am sipping a lovely cup of redbush tea instead of nibbling on biscuits. You are probably right, I am probably more thirsty than anything.
