You may remember the amazing fun I had on my pampering day in my last weeks of pregnancy.
The lovely Mona spent a couple of hours adorning my bump with a special body painting- a cheeky monkey to symbolise the little bump dweller that was keeping us all on our toes, as he was flipping about inside the bump- head down, then back up again, head butting my stomach. Not only did Mona create a lasting*, wonderful memory for our family with the remarkable maternity bump painting she did, but that day I walked around in Oxford and the smiles and joy it gave to those around me was utterly uplifting to see.
Doesn’t it look fantastic?
Well, Mona has devised a cunning plan for spreading that joy and raising some money for Comic Relief!
MATERNITY BUMP PAINTING.
Mona is offering her services in the name of charity for a donation of only £5! (This service is usually £45-£90, depending on the image detail.) The mum-to-be is also asked to get as many sponsors as possible, but there is no required minimum.
If you are pregnant or know someone who is then please get in touch with Mona and arrange a time between the 8th and 22nd March to do this for charity.
Believe me, this is truly a lovely, relaxing way to mark this special time in your life and contribute to the greater good at the same time .
Mona, you are amazingly talented and this is such a lovely offer to charity!
* Mona uses the best quality paints and, unfortunately, the only way to make it a truly lasting memory is to take lots of photos, as it soon washes off in the shower. 🙁
